Memories of gestures and flavors

The proposal is organized in two parts, the first involves the presentation of the rural village of Terraia, its history, the natural environment in which it is inserted, with a brief illustration of the edible plants that can then be found and collected.

The second part is a real path that will meet some old local ladies who will accompany the boys, in the fields and in the woods to collect what the season offers in that period.

After the harvest we will move on to the preparation of lunch or tasting that will follow with the direct intervention of the children, in the manner appropriate to the type of participants.

During the work we will try to intrigue the knowledge of the oral tradition, telling stories, anecdotes, fables and legends.

The path targets users

• all students, from nursery to high school,
• groups of adults
• groups of foreigners, with the possibility of exposure for all in English and French.

(The use of foreign languages ​​will be contextualized to the method, becoming a support for it, where required or deemed appropriate due to the number of visitors)
