The three seeds of a study holiday
When it comes to study holidays, we concentrate almost exclusively on the linguistic aspect which indeed represents a very important value. What I would like to talk to you about today are the implications that affect the personal aspect of enrichment of the person.
So, in my opinion, here are the 3 seeds that our children will take home at the end of their study holiday.
1. The time. Living abroad involves slowing down the fast pace that punctuates our days in Italy, we do not have the stress of having to run from school to the home of grandparents or the other parent, then running to the gym and then again to the other side. of the city to the music room, Saturday catechism, Sunday morning tournament, sporting event or scout. The experiences are punctuated by a slow pace that leaves room for everything and concentrates the possibilities of accessing important things, close and at hand: from the classroom English to that of the theater runs no greater distance than that between the Canteen or the meeting point towards the promenade in the city. 3. Creativity and Originality. Unlike most peers, getting to know new places, experimenting with different habits, tasting other foods, meeting people, learning different cultures and ways of behavior, leads to new points of view, new ideas, projects. The journey brings with it a unique mix of emotions that will make you different, inimitable and creative in every field of work. Having to face novelty and some unexpected is a formidable training for a fundamental aspect in life which is the spirit of adaptation.
